woman writing to illustrate a call for articles

We invite abstract submissions for the 2025 SISP Conference, taking place in Naples, 4–6 September; Deadline for submission: May 2025

Scholars from a range of disciplines are encouraged to submit abstracts offering fresh perspectives and innovative approaches to the study of corruption, anti-corruption, and integrity mechanisms in today’s complex and evolving context. Both theoretical and empirical contributions are welcome, including those using qualitative, quantitative, experimental, or computational methods.

We particularly welcome abstracts addressing the following topics:

  • State capture, corruption, and the fragility of democracy
  • Integration of anti-corruption policies across different policy sectors
  • The role of new technologies (e.g., Artificial Intelligence, blockchain) in anti-corruption
  • Perceptions of corruption and anti-corruption strategies at national, regional, and local levels—from top-down to bottom-up approaches
  • Anti-corruption in the context of the Green transition
  • Anti-corruption and the Digital transition
  • Cross-border corruption: challenges and barriers to enforcement and prevention
  • New tools and indicators for measuring transparency and integrity
  • Legal corruption and undue influence: emerging frameworks and interpretations

Join us to discuss and explore how integrity policies and anti-corruption efforts can evolve and adapt in response to today’s challenges.
