Our researcher gave an inspiring speech at the opening of a hackathon at Kaunas University
Fernanda Odilla (University of Bologna) presented at the international event “Hack-IT community of practice: innovative pedagogies for responsible education workshop” at the Kaunas University of Technology in Lithuania.
Designed to reflect on the challenges of teaching and learning in the 21st century, the event took place on 21 November 2024.
Odilla and five other speakers shared inspiring experiences and stories before the hackathon. The hackathon is an event where people engage in rapid and collaborative design thinking.
In her presentation entitled “Developing Responsible Citizens: AI for Anti-Corruption“, Odilla spoke about the main challenges faced by bottom-up anti-corruption initiatives that have developed anti-corruption technologies, based on the ERC-funded BIT-ACT (Bottom-Up Initiatives and Anti-Corruption Technologies”.
RESPOND also assesses civil society initiatives that use technologies to curb corruption in Europe
